O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 04.04.2018.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 2nd respondent police has not registered a case against the proposed accused for the offence with regard to bigamy.

4. Per contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, would submit that the dispute between the parties is purely family dispute. Therefore the compliant has to be referred to the Social Welfare Officer and after obtaining report from the Social Welfare Officer, the respondent police will take https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

further action in the above said complaint in accordance with law.

5. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty to approach this Court at a later stage, if necessary.

6. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
