No.10795 of 2018 :- This Petition is filed Under Article 226 of the Contitution of India praying to grant extension of time for three months from 23.04.2018 to the committee to comply with the order dated 23.03.2018 in WMP(MD)No.6198 in WP(MD)No.6350 of 2018.

Prayer in WP(MD). 6350/ 2018 : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondents to publish the school fee fixed by the Tamil Nadu Private Schools Fee's determination Committee for the academic year 2018-2021 within the time stipulated by this Honble Court.

/ 2 / ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mrs.SRIMATHY, SPECIAL GOVERNMENT PLEADER, for the Petitioners and of Mr.R.ALAGUMANI, Advocate for the respondent, this Court made the following order: This Court, vide order dated 23.03.2018, has fixed a time limit as to the fixation of school fees in private and aided schools within a stipulated time frame. The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking extension of time for the reason that the schools for which fee structure to be fixed are running to thousands and odd.

2. Heard Ms.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents as well as the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner/respondent, who not only strongly opposed the petition, but also submitted that though it is obligatory on the part of the petitioner herein to upload the said details in the website, they have not done so till date.

3. This Court considered the rival submissions and also perused the materials placed on record.

4. The order in the writ petition was passed on 23.3.18 and this petition for extension of time has been filed during June, 2018 and the three months extension sought for, though over by now, however, this Court, being satisfied with the reasons assigned in para-4 of the affidavit filed in support of the petition accordingly, grants extension of time by one month from today, I.e., 21.6.2019, for complying with the order dated 23.3.18, passed by this Court. The miscellaneous petition is disposed of accordingly. It is also further made clear that the details about the fee structure fixed should be uploaded in the website within the said time.
