Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to approval the petitioner appointment and release of grant from the date of her appointment on 15.4.2008 including all other monitory benefits on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 2.12.14 within a time frame fixed by this court. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Since the limited prayer is sought for seeking the first respondent to approve the appointment of the petitioner based on her representation, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.It is stated that the petitioner was appointed as a Secondary Grade Teacher as early as on 11.04.2008 and even though proposals were sent seeking for approval for such appointment, the said request has not been considered so far. It is seen that the last of such representation was sent on 02.12.2014.

3.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and without expressing any view on the merits and contentions raised by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.12.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
