ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to accept the petitioner's xerox copy of S.S.L.C. mark list for certificate verification and physical measurement test for the post of Sub Inspector of Police of Tamil Nadu Police Department (Registration No.657670) and consequently, allow the petitioner to participate in the physical measurement test and certificate verification scheduled to be held on 03.08.2015 at morning 6.00 a.m., for the post of Sub Inspector of Police of Tamil Nadu Police Department. 2.Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

selected in the written examination for Sub Inspector of Police post held on 23.05.2015 and he has also been called for physical examination on 03.08.2015. The grievance of the petitioner is that he missed his S.S.L.C. original mark list. He preferred a complaint before the Thambaram Police Station and also received a non traceable certificate. He also applied for duplicate S.S.L.C. certificate to the Education Department, Chennai on 21.07.2015. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that without verifying the original certificates, candidates would not be allowed to participate in the physical measurement test and certificate verification scheduled to be held on 03.08.2015. However, he fairly submitted that the petitioner can be allowed to participate in the physical measurement test and certificate verification scheduled to be held on 03.08.2015 subject to the production of original S.S.L.C. certificate or certified copy of the same.

5.Taking note of the above said submissions, the petitioner is permitted to take part in physical measurement test and certificate verification, scheduled to be held on 03.08.2015 for the post of Sub Inspector of Police by producing original S.S.L.C.certificate or certified copy of the same along with other original documents as required by the authorities. 6.The Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P.is closed.
