O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to revise the petitioner's pension, with effect from 01.06.2003 and to disburse with all the pensionary and other arrear benefits, along with interest, within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.T.Aswin Rajasimman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents, including 2nd and 4th respondents/Mother Teresa Women's University.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, with regard to the service benefits, the petitioner had given a representation to the second respondent University, on 28.03.2018, where, an appointment was sought for with the officer concerned of the University, to explain his grievance for redressal.

4. Today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, if a direction is given by this Court to the University Authorities to consider the said request, with regard to the grievance expressed therein, and an order to that effect, on merits is directed to be passed, the petitioner would be satisfied.

5. I have heard Mrs.S.Srimathy, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents who would submit that, the grievances echoed in the said representation dated 28.03.2018 shall be considered by the respondent University and an order to that effect would be passed and communicated to the petitioner, within a time frame, that may be fixed by this Court.

6. Considering the said submission made by both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions: "that the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.03.2018 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders thereon within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
