O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the Aadalum Paadalum dance programme on 14.04.2023 in pursuant to the kovil Thiruvizha at Arulmigu Muthumariamman kovil situated at Odukkur, Kulathur taluk, Pudukkottai district, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2023.

2. Mr.P.Kottai Chamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The second respondent Police is present before this Court and stated that on 2017, when the similar program was arranged, there was trouble arose between two communal people, so that the representation that was made by the petitioner is kept pending. 2/4

4. The second respondent herein is directed to issue summon to the petitioner and as well as the rival parties and to complete the enquiry process within a week, from the date of appearance of the parties. Depending upon the outcome of the above said enquiry, further steps may be taken either by the petitioner or by the competent authority.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
