ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.12.2025.

2. Heard Mr.P.Ganapathi Subramanian, learned counsel for the petitioner and M/s.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, the third parties are trying to alienate the property belonging to him by wrongfully changing the revenue records. Therefore, the petitioner has filed a representation before the 2nd respondent on 24.12.2025. However, the same has not been considered and hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 2/6

4. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Government advocate taking notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent would submit that, if a petition is duly filed by the petitioner along with the prescribed fees, the same will be taken into account in accordance with law.

5. In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the same was sent by post, and the acknowledgment card has also been produced along with the writ petition.

6. In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed on the following terms:- i. The petitioner is directed to appear before the 2nd respondent and submit a fresh representation enclosing the earlier representation dated 24.12.2025 along with the prescribed fees in the prescribed format, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order.

ii. On such representation being made by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

iii. No costs.
