ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members from the respondents 3 to 5.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 13.11.2022 at about 11.00 a.m., the respondents 3 to 5 trespassed into the petitioner's land and made criminal intimidation to him. Therefore, the petitioner made complaint before the respondents 1 and 2 for taking action against the respondents 3 to 5 and the same is still pending. Hence, this petition has been filed seeking police protection.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that with regard to the civil dispute, O.S.No. 809 of 2013, was filed by the parties and the same ended in favour of the private respondents. He further submitted that the petitioner has given 2/5

the present complaint after losing the civil suit stating that the private respondents threatened the petitioner and his family members.

4. In view of the above submission, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2023 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and dispose of the same on its own merits. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
