O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed to direct the respondent herein to expedite the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.28 of 2016, dated 17.09.2016, within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) appearing for the respondent.

3. It appears that on 17.09.2016, the petitioner has lodged a complaint and the case was registered by the respondent police in Crime No.28 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 498(A), 406, 109 and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1981.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the complaint was given on 17.09.2016, there is no progress and that therefore, the petitioner has filed the above petition, seeking a direction to the respondent to file final report. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal side) on instructions submitted that the enquiry is pending and that within a period of three months, the respondent will be able to file final report.

6. Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), the Criminal Original petition is closed with a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation and to file final report in Crime No.28 of 2016, dated 17.09.2016, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
