ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to pass orders on the revision petition filed by the petitioner on 13.11.2013 within the time limit fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the patta stood in the name of the father of the petitioner with respect to the subject property. Thereafter a sub division was made and the patta was issued in the name of Chokkalingam and others. The petitioner, aggrieved by the same, filed an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer and the Revenue Divisional Officer by proceedings dated 18.09.2013 dismissed the appeal. Aggrieved by the same, a revision petition was filed before the respondents on 13.11.2013.

3. It is stated that the respondent had issued notice to all the parties concerned and had conducted an enquiry and according to the petitioner, the enquiry was completed in the year 2017 itself. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents have not passed any orders till date and therefore, left with no other option, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to pass orders in the revision petition filed by the petitioner on 13.11.2013, after affording an opportunity to all the parties within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

7. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
