Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The petitioner seeks alteration of his date of birth in the petition mentioned passport. According to the petitioner, he was born on 25.06.1980 and it was wrongly mentioned as 19.01.1974 in the passport. The petitioner's father's name was Ponnaiah Asari. Now the petitioner wants to edit his father's name as Ponnaiah instead of Ponnaiah Asari. The petitioner has already given his application to the respondent. The respondent shall consider the petitioner's request and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.
