ORDER

This Contempt petition is filed for willful disobedience of the order dated 02.08.2024 in W.P.(MD).No.18588 of 2024 passed by this Court. While disposing of the said writ petition, this Court directed the respondents to consider the proposal dated 30.06.2024, submitted by the petitioner on merits and pass orders within a period of four weeks. 2/4

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that there is three months delay in implementing the order of this Court and the reason is that the original proposal sent by the petitioner is returned and resubmitted only in the month of October 2024 and thereafter, by following the procedure, the said proposal is rejected and to process the same, delay occurred and therefore, requested to take lenient view and to condone the delay in the interest of justice.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the reasons stated for the delay is acceptable, this Court intends to take lenient view.

4. In view of the fact that the order of the Court is already complied with, in our considered view, no further adjudication is required. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed. 28.03.2025 NCC :yes/No Index :yes/No Internet:yes/No rgm 3/4
