This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents Nos.1 to 3 to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members and to the property comprised in survey No.79/3B2A, to the extent of 0.0.54 hectare situated at Mathur Village, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the petitioner's representations, dated 12.06.2020 and 29.06.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6982 of 2020 2.Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents Nos.1 to 3 would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by the third respondent Police and based on which, an enquiry was initiated in C.S.R.No.235 of 2020 and that after due enquiry, the complaint has been closed. He would further submit that if it is found protection is required, suitable action will be taken.

3.Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
