O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents 2 to 5 not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties.

3. According to the petitioner, the fifth respondent, using his official capacity, is harassing the petitioner, under the guise of enquiry and therefore, the petitioner has made several complaints / representations before the higher authorities. However, no action https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has been taken on the same and hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is a history sheeted rowdy and more than half-a-dozen cases are registered and pending as against the petitioner. He would further submit that the petitioner is a notorious criminal, habitually doing criminal activities, causing threat to person and property of general public and therefore, it is necessary to call him for enquiry.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed, with a direction to the respondents police that if they want the petitioner for enquiry, they shall call him only by issuing summons.
