PRAYER: Criminal Original petitions have been filed under Section 528 of BNSS to direct the respondent police to investigate and file the final report/charge sheet within stipulated time frame in connection with crime No.383 of 2024, for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to investigate and file the final report/charge sheet in connection with Crime No.383 of 2024, on the file of the respondent.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that in this case, investigation is completed and charge sheet is ready. However, seeks one month time to file the charge sheet. 3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition and recording the submission made on behalf of the respondent, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of one month from the date of this order.
