On 01.03.2024, this Court granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners to appear before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 A.M., for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. However, it is claimed that the respondent Police insisted the petitioners to execute the bond under Section 110 of Cr.P.C. Therefore, the present Modification Petition is filed.
2. It is impermissible for the respondent Police to direct the petitioners to execute the bond under Section 110 Cr.P.C. The petitioners are directed to appear before the respondent Police from tomorrow onwards (29.03.2024) for a period of two weeks at 10.30 A.M., and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation, failing which, the anticipatory bail granted by this Court shall stand automatically vacated.
