Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 1.4.2014 and consequently to direct the respondent to grant patta for the land in Survey No.63/4B measuring about 55 cents and situated in Sirudhoor Hamlet, Thiruppalai Second Bit, Thiruppalai Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District. The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 1.4.2014 and consequently to direct the respondent to grant patta for the land in Survey No.63/4B measuring about 55 cents and situated in Sirudhoor Hamlet, Thiruppalai Second Bit, Thiruppalai Village, Madurai North Taluk, Madurai District.

2. Mr.N.Manoharan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 1.4.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
