PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant parole to the petitioner's husband / detenue namely Marimuthu, aged about 69 years presently detained at Central Prison, Trichy in P.D.O.No. 04/2025 dated 10.02.2025 on account of marriage ceremony, by considering her representation, dated 12.03.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court.

This Writ petition is filed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 12.03.2025.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the Learned Additional Public Prosector appearing for the respondents submitted that since the detention order passed against the husband of the petitioner has already been revoked by the Advisory Board vide its proceedings, dated 28.03.2025, nothing survives in this Writ Petition.
