The petitioner seeks production of the person of his daughter namely Pon Esakki, aged about 21 years.

2. According to the petitioner, his daughter went missing on 10.02.2022 and the police have not taken any action to secure her despite his complaint.

3. Mr.S.Ravi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the detenue is a major and she is working as a Teacher at Muthalamman Higher Secondary School, Thoothukudi. 4. Therefore, we do not see any illegal custody and illegal detention involved and hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
