Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to take appropriate action under the criminal law pursuant to the petitioner's complaint, dated 03.03.2022 in the light of the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalita Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. reported in (2014) 2 SCC as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated as prescribed by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to directing the second respondent to take appropriate action under the criminal law pursuant to the petitioner's complaint, dated 03.03.2022 in the light of the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalita Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. reported in (2014) 2 SCC as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated as prescribed by this Court.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has lodged complaints before the respondent police on 03.03.2022 and the same is still pending without any progress.

3. In view of the same, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the petitioner and dispose of the same, within a peirod of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
