Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Criminal Proceedure Code praying this Hon`ble Court to direct the Judicial Magistrate Court, Theni to conclude the trial in CC.NO.214 of 2012 and dispose of the same within aperiod that may be stipulated by this Honourable Court.

ORDER: This Petition coming on for hearing on this day, upon perusing the earlier order of this Court and the requisition letter submitted by the Chief Judicial Magistrate Theni vide the letter in D.No.281 / 2018 / dated 20.02.2018, Appearing of Mr.J.SULTHAN BASHA, Advocate for the Petitioner, and of Mr.K.K.RAMAKRISHNAN, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, this court made the following order:

By letter, dated 20.02.2018 addressed to the Additional Registrar General, the Chief Judicial Magistrate(FAC), Theni has requested further time of four months to dispose of the C.C.No.214 of 2012.

Considering the aforesaid request, time is extended for a further period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, to comply with the order passed by this Court, dated 12.07.2017.
