For Respondent : Mr.Kr.Bharathi Kannan, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- To enlarge the petitioner on bail in the event of his arrest in connection with CC.No.403 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I,Sivagangai pending investigation. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 468, 420 and 506(ii) IPC seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The petitioner was absent during the trial in C.C.No.403 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivagangai. Therefore, Non-Bailable Warrant came to be issued on 11.02.2021. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner shall appear before the Court below regularly on all future hearing dates without fail.

4.It is seen that the case in C.C.No.403 of 2016 is pending from the year 2016. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

original petition is dismissed by giving liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the Court below and seek regular bail. On filing of such petition, the concerned Court below shall consider the same on the same day, on merits.
