ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to regularise and absorb the petitioners in the post of 'Assistant Professors' in their respective Departments with all the consequential service and monetary benefits from the date of their initial appointment, before recruiting any direct Assistant Professors.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 15.03.2024, in the light of the final orders passed in WA.No.1163 of 2021 dated 01.04.2025 [2025 : MHC : 867], within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Considering the limited prayer now sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 15.03.2024, by taking into account the orders passed in W.A.No. 1163 of 2021, dated 01.04.2025 [2025 : MHC : 867], on its own merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
