ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant prior permission to fill up the vacant post of P.G. Teacher [Tamil] in the Petitioner School viz., Mangapuram Hindu Higher Secondary School, Srivilliputhur - 626 125, as per the proposal submitted by the Petitioner School, dated 01.08.2019.

2.According to learned counsel for the petitioner, the Petitioner School is a private aided School and they have made an application on 01.08.2019 to grant prior permission to fill up the vacant post of P.G. Teacher [Tamil], which is vacant from 01.07.2018 due to the promotion given to one Mrs.A.Indira Gandhi as Headmistress, in their School, but till date, the same is not considered by the respondents. W.P.(MD)No.7298 of 2020 3.Mr.A.Thiyagarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the proposal dated 01.08.2019, submitted by the Petitioner School, for prior permission to fill up the vacant post of P.G. Teacher [Tamil], is still pending with the first respondent and same would be considered by the first respondent and an order to that effect would be passed thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.Recording the abovesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the proposal submitted by the Petitioner School, dated 01.08.2019, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
