O R D E R

This petition is filed for a direction to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.246 of 2015, dated 01.04.2015 and to file final report within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2.On the basis of the complaint preferred by the petitioner, a case was registered by the respondent police under Sections 467, 468, 471, 406 and 420 of I.P.C. The allegation in the complaint relates to the forgery of municipal records. It is further stated in the complaint that the accused persons obtained forged tax receipts and that they have also filed the said forged documents as exhibits in the suit in O.S.No.214 of 1990 on 25.11.2002. It was stated by the petitioner that the act of forgery came to the knowledge of the petitioner only when the forgery of the document was confirmed by getting information under Right to Information Act.

that they were not able to get the documents from the municipal authority cannot be appreciated, however, taking into account the need to expedite the process, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

"The second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.246 of 2015 and file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
