ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents to expedite the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.518 of 2022 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police within the stipulated period by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by one Panjavarnam, the second respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.518 of 2022, in which, the investigation has been completed and Final Report is made ready. Hence, he seeks one month time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 2/4
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent police is directed to file a final report in Crime No.518 of 2022 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
