O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to cut 28 Teak Wood Trees and 250 Rubber Trees available in Survey Nos.589/8, 589/9 in Surulakodu Revenue Village, Thiruvattaru Taluk, Kanyakumari District and transport the same for marketing purpose, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 27.01.2020.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she is the owner of the land in Survey Nos.589/8 and 589/9 to an extent of 2 acres in Surulakodu Revenue Village. In the said land, 28 Teak Trees and 200 Rubber Trees are available and they attained maturity. Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondent on 27.01.2020, requesting him to allow her to cut the trees and transport to the place of marketing. But till date, the said representation was not considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation to the respondent on 27.01.2020, along with the relevant documents and since there is no order passed, the petitioner is before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner has given a representation along with the relevant documents, I do not find any acknowledgement in the typed set of papers. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the respondent along with the relevant documents, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
