Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2014 seeking to appoint him as Inspector / Sub Inspector in Thanjavur District, under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2014, seeking to appoint him as Inspector / Sub Inspector in Thanjavur District, under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, within a time frame.
2.Mr.K.Mahes Raja, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.08.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the petitioner, and pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
