O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioner, his family members and his property on the basis of representation dated 02.11.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) for the respondents. 3.It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that despite issuance of direction by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.3798 of 2014 and Crl.O.P.(MD) No.14255 of 2014, the second respondent has not provided police protection. It is further submitted that one Abdul Salim, who is having enmity with the petitioner again caused damage to his property and so, the petitioner sent a representation dated 02.11.2016 to the first respondent. Since no action has been taken on the representation dated 02.11.2016, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.11.2016, in the light of the orders passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) Nos.3798 of 2014 and 14255 of 2014, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
