ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.
2.The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the second respondent to conclude the departmental proceedings initiated in pursuance of the charge memo dated 03.07.2014 and consequently to direct the first respondent to pass final orders in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.6451 of 2013, dated 18.04.2013. 3.It is seen that challenging the order of suspension, the petitioner and others have approached this Court by filing W.P(MD)No.6451 of 2013 wherein this Court by an order dated 18.04.2013 directed the first respondent herein to complete the disciplinary enquiry and pass final orders within a period of five months. However, the charge memo itself came to be issued only on 03.07.2014 and the enquiry is still pending and not yet completed. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed with the aforementioned relief.

4.Considering the fact that the petitioner is going to retire in the month of September 2015 and considering the fact that this Court has already granted time to complete the disciplinary proceedings which was not complied with for the reasons best known to the Department, in order to avoid multiplicity of proceedings, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to complete the disciplinary proceedings and pass final orders thereon pursuant to the charge memo dated 03.07.2014 on or before 30.04.2015. If the enquiry is not completed and final order is not passed within the time stipulated by this Court in this order, it is open to the petitioner to approach this Court questioning the continuance of the disciplinary proceedings thereafter.
