ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for R1 & R2.

2. The petitioner alleges that the third respondent had committed encroachment on the channel leading to what is known as Udaikulam Kanmoi. The petitioner has not mentioned any survey numbers. But the learned Special Government Pleader on instructions from the Tahsildar, Sivagangai states that enquiry will be conducted on the representation given by the petitioner. The relevant revenue records will also be verified. If the results of the survey indicate that the third respondent has committed encroachment, proper notice will be issued to the third respondent and by adhering to due process of law, encroachment also will be removed.

3. Recording the stand of the learned Special Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
