Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a writ of Certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned notification of the 4th respondent dated 26.06.2017 published in the tamil daily thinathanthi dated 27.06.2017 quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to conduct fresh interview and selection process in accordance with rules of recruitment in an unbiased manner and to pass such further. ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.SANKARAPANDIAN. 2. Even though the writ petition was filed as early as in the year 2017, this impleading petition in WMP(MD)No.6878 of 2023 was filed only in the year 2023. Despite the said fact, this Court ordered notice to the proposed respondents by its order dated 14.08.2024. However, the petitioner has chosen not to take steps to serve notice on the proposed respondents. It can now be inferred that the petitioner, only to drag on the proceedings, has filed this impleading application at a belated stage and has chosen not to take steps to serve notice on the proposed respondents.
