ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the sole accused in Crime No. 229 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent police, seeking to quash the FIR.

2. Pending investigation, the defacto complainant, who is a minor represented by her mother, has entered into a compromise and has decided to withdraw the complaint.

3. The mother of the defacto complainant is present in person before this Court and acknowledges the fact that they have entered into a compromise for quashing the FIR.

4. The petitioner is said to have alleged for the offences under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 351(3) of BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2022. 2/4

5. Considering the relationship between the parties and the compromise reached between them. Hence, the FIR in Crime No.229 of 2025 is hereby quashed and the Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The joint compromise memo dated 09.03.2026 shall form part and parcel of this order.
