PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the learned I Additional Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Madurai to split up the trial in C.C.No.422/2021 on the file of the said court as against the Accused No.2 is concerned by consider and dispose of the application in Crl.M.P.No.15/2022 in C.C.No.422/2021 within a time stipulation as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned I Additional Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Madurai to split up the trial in C.C.No.422 of 2021 on the file of the said court as against the Accused No.2 is concerned by consider and dispose of the application in Crl.M.P.No.15 of 2022 in C.C.No.422 of 2021 within a time stipulation as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the application in Crl.M.P.No.15 of 2022 in C.C.No.422 of 2021 is pending before the I Additional Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Madurai without any progress.

3. In view of the same, there shall be a direction to the I Additional Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Madurai to dispose of the application in Crl.M.P.No.15 of 2022 in C.C.No.422 of 2021 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
