This Writ Petition has been filed to direct respondent police to take appropriate action against the 4th respondent by conducting an enquiry based on the petitioner's representation, dated 11.03.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, 4th respondent is the husband of the petitioner and there is a matrimonial dispute pending between the petitioner and the 4th respondent, thereby, he caused harassment to the petitioner and refused to return back the jewels of the petitioner and also he demanded dowry, therefore, the petitioner sent a complaint against the 4th respondent. However, no action has been taken, hence, she filed a representation before the 3rd respondent on 11.03.2025, but the same has also been not considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner is none other than the wife of the 4th respondent and she lodged a complaint against her husband and the same is under consideration and they will conduct enquiry and dispose of the same within a period of one week. 2/4
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondent, is inclined to dispose of the writ petition by recording the submission of the respondent and by directing the 3rd respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of one week from the date of this order in accordance with law.
5.With the above observations and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
