This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation and to file a final report in Cr.No.1023 of 2015 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on instructions submitted that in this case investigation was completed and final report was filed into Court and the same was taken on file in P.R.C.No.14 of 2016 and thereafter, the case committed to the Sessions Court in S.C.No.491 of 2016 on the file of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Madurai.
