Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 20.10.2013 and promote the petitioner from the post of Cooperative Sub-Registrar to Deputy Registrar, keeping in view that on the crucial dated 01.10.2011 there were no charges or currency of punishment pending on the petitioner. ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking for a Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 20.10.2013 and promote the petitioner from the post of Co-operative Sub-Registrar to the Deputy Registrar.

2. According to the petitioner, he is entitled to be promoted from the post of Co-operative Sub-Registrar to the Deputy Registrar. Whether the claim made by the petitioner is justifiable or not, is for the first respondent to consider and decide and therefore, this Court at this stage is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner.

3. As the petitioner has already made a request by way of an appeal dated 20.10.2013 to the first respondent, it is for him to consider the same. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of without expressing any view on the merits of the matter directing the first respondent to consider the appeal dated 20.10.2013 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. No costs.
