ORDER
This petition has been filed for a direction to the Principal Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar at Srivilliputhur to dispose of the Crl.R.P.No.9 of 2014 in M.C.No.14 of 2011 within a stipulated time.
2.Mr.P.Athimoolapandian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the respondent is the husband of the first petitioner and the father of the second petitioner. The petitioners filed M.C.No.14 of 2011 before the Judicial Magistrate, Rajapalayam, seeking maintenance. The Judicial Magistrate, Rajapalayam allowed the application on 04.03.2014,directing the respondent to pay a sum of Rs.4,000/- per month as maintenance to each of the petitioners. 3.Feeling aggrieved by the order, dated 04.03.2014, the respondent has preferred a Revision before the Principal Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar at Srivilliputhur in Crl.R.P.No.9 of 2014 and the revision is being adjourned, without any progress, for the past two years. Due to the pendency of the revision and the interim order, the respondent has not paid any maintenance to the petitioners and they are suffering financially. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and perused the materials on record.
5.Considering the above submission and facts of the case, this Court directs the Principal Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur to dispose of the Crl.R.P.No.9 of 2014 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
