This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal in Na.Ka.D3/33366/2007 dated 10.03.2015 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal in Na.Ka.D3/33366/2007 dated 10.03.2015 within the time stipulated by this Court. By the said appeal, the first respondent herein called upon the petitioner herein to appear before him on 17.03.2015 in connection with the rectification of the mistake committed in S.No.270/2.

2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the first respondent has called upon the petitioner to appear before him with all the relevant documents for correction in S.No.270/2, in Andakulam Post, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District, on 17.03.2015, thereafter, no orders have been passed by the said respondent, despite the appearance of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that the appeal will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the appeal of the petitioner, dated 10.03.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
