O R D E R
This contempt petition is filed that the order of this Court in WP(MD) No. 499 of 2020, dated 05.12.2022 has not been complied with.
2.This Court has disposed of WP(MD) No.499 of 2020 on 05.12.2022 in the following terms:-
5. In view of the fair stand taken by the learned counsel for the fifth respondent, this Court permits the petitioner to file an appropriate application before the fifth respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such application, the fifth respondent shall forward the same to the first respondent, who shall, on receipt of the said application consider the same in terms with the Government Orders and Rules relating to computation of benefits during the period in which the petitioner was on deputation with the fifth respondent and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any, as expeditiously 2/5
as possible.''
3.Though the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore has submitted before this Court that the required service particulars of the petitioner for the years between 1972 to 1975 would be forwarded within the stipulated time, it appears that the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University has not forwarded the details as undertook before this Court. After taking notice in the contempt petition and on the advice of the learned Counsel for the University, it appears that the University has forwarded the required particulars to the Government on 27.12.2024.
4.The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent submits that the papers forwarded by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore has been verified and forwarded to the Accountant General for necessary payment of pension to the petitioner.

5.Considering the scope of this contempt petition and the steps taken by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore as well as the Government in settling the pension amount to the petitioner, this contempt petition is closed. 21.01.2025 Index:Yes/No Internet:Yes/No vrn To Mr.A.Karthik, I.A.S., The Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai.
