Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give water connection to the petitioner's house situated at D.No.7/27 E and D.No.7/27G/10B, Munnerpallam Village, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2015 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give water connection to the petitioner's house situated at D.No.7/27 E and D.No.7/27G/10B, Munnerpallam Village, Tirunelveli District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.05.2015 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that after constructing a new tank in Munnerpallam Village, all the villagers were provided with new water connection except the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation dated 04.05.2015 to the 1st respondent for providing of new water connection. Since the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid prayer.

3.Mr.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate takes notice of the 1st respondent and Mr.Gunaseelan Muthiah learned Government Advocate takes notice for respondents 2 and 3. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6.In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.05.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
