The petitioner in I.D.O.P.SR.No.4684 of 2024, on the file of the Principal District Court, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District, has filed the present Civil Revision Petition seeking a direction to the said Court to number the I.D.O.P.

2. A perusal of the records reveals that the petitioner herein has filed the above I.D.O.P for the relief of restitution of conjugal rights. The petitioner has enclosed the marriage invitation, marriage photo and the receipt issued by the marriage hall for booking said marriage hall. However, the trial Court has returned the application with a direction to the petitioner to produce the Marriage Registration Certificate.
3. According to the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner, the marriage has not been registered before the authorities concerned and therefore, they are not in a position to produce the said document.
4. Considering the fact that the petitioner has also enclosed Birth Certificate of his son born to the couple, the learned Principal District Judge, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District, is directed to number the above said petition, if it is otherwise in order without insisting upon the Marriage Certificate.

5. With the above said observation, this Civil Revision Petition stands allowed. There shall be no order as to costs. 25.03.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No ebsi Note:
The Registry is directed to return the original I.D.O.P to the petitioner after getting necessary endorsement after retaining a copy of the same for record.
