Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Special Tahsildar (land acquisition), National Highways No.209, Oddanchatram to demarcate the acquired lands of the petitioners situate in Survey No.376/3 and 381/1 Athikombai Village, Oddanchatram Taluk and disburse the compensation payable to the petitioners by considering the representation of the petitioners dated 21.07.2015 in accordance with law. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition directing the Special Tahsildar (land acquisition), National Highways No.209, Oddanchatram to demarcate the acquired lands of the petitioners situate in Survey No.376/3 and 381/1 Athikombai Village, Oddanchatram Taluk and disburse the compensation payable to the petitioners by considering the representation of the petitioners dated 21.07.2015 in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Mr.N.Shanmugaselvan, learned Standing Counsel accepts

notice for the first respondent and Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.7.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
