PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli to expedite and complete the trial in C.C No. 392 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli within a specified time as may be fixed by this court. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli to expedite and complete the trial in C.C No. 392 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli within a specified time as may be fixed by this court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending trial without any progress.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.

4. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli to dispose the case pending in CC No.392 of 2022 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings. Further the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on all hearing dates without fail and co-operate for trial.
