Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to Survey and demark the 4 boundaries of the lands in S.No.57/2C1, 83/1C, 83/3C, 83/2, 83/4B, 83/1B and 83/3B of PalliAgraharam Village, Manakarambai Panchayat, Tanjavur Taluk, on considering petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2015, after serving due notice to her and respondents 4 to 7. ORDER

This Writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 2 & 3 to survey the subject mentioned property, by considering her representation dated 23.06.2015.

2. According to the petitioner, the subject mentioned property belongs to her and as such, she has made an application before the authorities for measurement of her property. Despite the fact that she had remitted the required fee, the authorities had not surveyed the property, because of the objection raised by the contesting respondents. Thereafter, several complaints as well as petitions came to be filed by both the parties and at this juncture, they are before this Court.

3. Heard both sides and perused the documents available on record.

4. After some detailed and elaborate arguments, it is agreed by both the parties that survey shall be conducted in their presence and thereafter, the authorities shall mark the boundaries.

5. Under such circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the Tahsildar, Tanjavur / second respondent herein to survey and mark the boundaries, in respect of the property in question, after due notice to the petitioner as well as the contesting respondents, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
