Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.R.Janarthanam, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent. By consent, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.
2.The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry in view of circular 67 dated 03.11.2011 in respect of the alleged sale deed No.2820 of 2011 based on the representation of the petitioner's dated 02.06.2015 3.According to the petitioner, one Lakshmanan Chettiyar has executed a power deed in favour of one R.M.Subramanian Chettiyar entrusting right to manage the mutt affairs. executed a sale deed in favour of one V.Ravikumar in respect of S.Nos.841/5, 841/6, 841/7, 841/8, 841/13, 842/2, 846/1 and 846/2 which are belonging to the Government and maintained by the Town Panchayat. Therefore, as per circular 67 issued by the first respondent, the alleged sale deed in Document No.2820/2011 has to be set aside after holding a detailed enquiry. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 02.06.2015 to the respondent for the above said purpose. Since no final order has been passed, the present writ petition has been filed for the aforementioned relief. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with the Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 issued by the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
