PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records from the 1st respondent police in Cr.No.28 of 2021 dated 18.12.2021 and quash the same as devoid of merits against the petitioner.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Cr.No.28 of 2021 dated 18.12.2021 on the file of the 1st Respondent Police.

2.The petitioner is the accused person Crime No.530 of 202028 of 2021 pending on the file of the first respondent, which was registered for the offences punishable under Section 498(A) of IPC. Seeking quashment of the same, on various grounds, this petition has been filed. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that investigation has been completed and final report was filed before the concerned Court and the same was taken cognizance in C.C.No.199 of 2023, by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tiruchendur. Now it has been posted for appearance of parties on 24.08.2023. 4.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

5.Accordingly, with the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
