ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the first and second respondents herein, to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner on the basis of her representation dated 19.04.2021.

2. The case of the prosecution is that, the petitioner along with one Karuthasamy have submitted a representation before the Tahsildar on 16.04.2021 seeking to survey his lands in survey Nos.52/2, 52/3 and 52/4. On receiving his representation, the Tahsildar has conducted enquiry with the petitioner and Karuthasamy regarding the survey of land and during enquiry, the petitioner had replied all the queries raised by the Tahsildar. After the enquiry, the third respondent, who were having some personal enmity with Karuthasamy, threatened and abused the petitioner at the Tahsildar office. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5976 of 2021 now following the petitioner everywhere and also threatening her with dire consequences, and when she was alone at home, they have abused the petitioner with filthy language and also threatened her with dire conequences. Therefore, the petitioner had sent a representation to the first and second respondents on 19.04.2021 to take appropriate action against the respondents 3 to 6 seeking to protect the petitioner's life and limb. As there was no action taken by the respondents 1 and 2, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that, complaint given by the petitioner has been registered and enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.59 of 2021. Based upon which, further action will be taken.

4. Recording the submission of learned Government Advocate, the second respondent herein is directed to conclude the enquiry in C.S.R.No.59 of 2021 and as per the outcome of the enquiry, he may take further action.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
