..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents i.e., The Registrar General, High Court of Judicature, Madras - 600 107 to intimate the petitioner specifically the basis and the criteria followed for preparation of the list of Reader / Examiner which was communicated on 31.08.2014 and also to intimate whether the seniority in the cadre of feeder category i.e,Office Assistant was followed or not within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Hon'ble High Court.

2. It is not in dispute that the representation of the petitioner for refixation of seniority has been rejected by the Registrar General of the High Court. The petitioner only seeks the basis for fixation of his seniority.

3. We are of the view that the basis for such fixation of seniority be communicated to the petitioner, within a period of one month from today.
