O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the father of the detenue namely Sowndharya, aged about 23 years, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce her before this Court and set her at liberty forthwith.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today,Mr.V.Bharathidasan, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Habeas Corpus Petition.

H.C.P.(MD) No.415 of 2020 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would state that this is the second Habeas Corpus Petition and on the earlier occasion, the detenue had eloped with the third respondent. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor by producing the statement of the detenue, would state that she is in the house of one Gopi. She has stated that she was having love affair with one boy, but her parents are insisting her to marry some other person. The statement is taken on file.

4.In the light of the above submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
